Short Fuse

Short Fuse is a hard-as-nails boss-rush shooter drawn like a 1930s cartoon.

The city of Caldeira is going dark. Baron Soot is stealing every flame in town to feed his Eternal Furnace, and every boss you face has swallowed one of them. You are Pavio, a hot-headed matchstick with a very short fuse. Shoot, dash and parry your way through the docks and bring the stolen flames home.

FEATURES

• 3 hand-crafted boss fights, each with 3 phases: Captain Ferrolho the grumpy tugboat, the gossiping Crane Sisters and the terrifying Madame Sardine of the cannery.

• 6 fuels to burn: Match, Kerosene, Gunpowder, Coal, Magnesium and Pitch, each with its own EX attack.

• Heat gauge: hit hard, parry the blue sparks and fill the boiler. At full heat, Pavio turns Incandescent.

• Walk the dark city map of Caldeira: every flame you recover lights its street back up.

• Earn tokens with every boss (better grades pay more) and spend them at Nick Nickel's Shop on new fuels and charms.

• Old-film filter, swing-jazz soundtrack and a newspaper front page for every victory.

• 10 languages: English, Português, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Русский, 日本語, 简体中文, 한국어.

• Keyboard or gamepad (Xbox layout).
